I think Olympic knitting is carried out once every four years during the Olympics. It's a kal but you get to pick which pattern you'd like to knit within the few weeks of the olympic games. if you manage to finish within the deadline (olympic closing ceremony) you get a gold medal that you can display on your blog :)
